I am a physician from Long Island, New York.  I have a 30+ year photography experience and a love for Wildlife photography.  My favorite location has been Africa, first visited in 1995, and I have returned there five times to photograph on safari in Kenya, Namibia, Botswana, Rwanda, Zimbabwe and Tanzania.  I've also photographed extensively throughout North America.

I specialize in presenting multimedia slide shows.  I have done Showcase Theater Presentations at the annual photo conference run by the New England Camera Club Council in Amherst, MA.  I presented Photosafari to Kenya in July 1998 and Photosafari to Africa July 2000, and in July 2006 I presented North American wildlife show entitled Creatures Large and Small.    In July 2005, I had a presentation at the Museum of Natural History in NYC.

My photographic prints are now made digitally, using an Epson Stylus Pro 9800 printer.  This allows me to make large prints, up to 44 x 60" , on high quality photo paper or on canvas.  The prints are archival.

The equipment that I use is Nikon digital.  I have two D2X bodies, a 200-400mm f4 AFS lens with matched teleconverters, an 70-200mm f2.8 AFS,a 12-24mm f2.8 AFS, an 18-200mm lens and a 200mm f4 micro.   My tripod of choice is a Gitzo GT3540LS carbonfiber with a Really Right Stuff ballhead or a Wimberley gimbal type head.
